Course registration for the summer and fall semesters will begin on
March 28. Please see the below schedule for registration:

March 28 Graduate and Doctoral students

March 30 Senior and Second Bachelors

April 4 Juniors

April 6 Sophomores and Freshmen

There is no longer an insurance registration hold on international
student accounts so please review your hold information thoroughly so
you may contact the appropriate department if you have a registration
hold. The ISSO has placed an informational hold that mentions "Do not
drop below a full course of study" on all international student
accounts. THIS IS NOT A REGISTRATION HOLD AND WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM
REGISTERING FOR COURSES.

USCIS requires international students to enroll in a full course of
study each fall and spring semester. A full course of study is at least
nine (9) semester credit hours for graduate students with at least six
(6) hours in face to face courses (f2f) and at least twelve (12)
semester credit hours for undergraduate students with at least nine (9)
hours in face to face (f2f) courses. Web enhanced "E" courses are
considered f2f. Enrollment in courses during the summer is optional for
international students unless it is their first semester and there are
no restrictions or requirements regarding f2f or online/web courses "W."
The only exceptions to the full course of study requirement during the
fall and spring semesters are below:

* Students with a full-time graduate assistantship may enroll for
six (6) hours

* Students in their last semester before graduation

* Students who are working on their thesis or dissertation

* Concurrent enrollment at another university. PLEASE BE AWARE
THAT THE POLICY FOR CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT HAS CHANGED. YOU MUST CONTACT
THE ISSO PRIOR TO CONCURRENTLY ENROLLING TO ENSURE YOU ARE MEETING THE
NEW POLICY.

* Students with a illness or medical condition. Please note that
documentation is required from a medical professional within the U.S.

Students graduating in the summer may take either f2f course(s) or
online/web course(s) "W" to complete their program in the summer.

Students graduating in the fall who have one course left to graduate
MUST enroll in an f2f or web enhanced "E" course. If you have two
courses left to graduate in the fall semester then one course must be
f2f and the other may be f2f or an online/web course "W". If you have
three or more courses to graduate in the fall semester then you will be
required to meet the above USCIS requirements for f2f and online/web
courses.

Please contact the ISSO with any questions or concerns. Thanks
