[Intl-stu] Applying for 12-month Optional Practical Training this summer

[International Students]

Students graduating this summer semester may apply for 12-month OPT
starting this Monday, June 13.  You may visit
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/international/offcampus_employment.asp for
the application process.  Please remember the following:

*        If you are taking summer session 1 classes ONLY then you will
need to apply before the end date of summer session 1, July 7.  Your
program end date will be July 7 if you are taking classes during summer
session 1 ONLY.  

*        If you are taking summer session 1 AND 2 classes then you will
need to apply for OPT any time during the summer semester before the end
date of August 11.  Your program end date for your I-20 will be August
11 if you are taking summer session 1 AND 2 classes.

*        If you are taking summer session 2 classes ONLY  then you will
need to apply for OPT any time during the summer semester before the end
date of August 11.  Your program end date for your I-20 will be August
11 if you are taking summer session 2 classes ONLY.
