[Intl-stu] Wal-Mart Shuttle and OPT Workshop

[International Students]

The ISSO will host two Optional Practical Training workshops this week
on Wednesday, February 10 at 3:30pm and Friday, February 12 at 10am in
Halladay 104.  If you would like to learn more about your
post-graduation employment options please attend this important
workshop.  

 

The ISSO will provide a free shuttle to Wal-Mart for students on Friday,
February 12 from 1-5pm.  The last shuttle pickup will leave from
Wal-Mart at 5pm sharp.  The shuttle vehicle will be a 15-passenger
mini-bus with the university name on the side.  If you or a group of
students live outside of a few blocks of the shuttle route please
contact me at john_jones at tamu-commerce.edu and we will review to see if
we can revise the route.    

 

The shuttle route will include a stop on-campus on Jackson Street
between Leberman and Cowling Halls and in front of Smith Hall as well as
the corner of Washington Street and Maple Street and corner of Maple
Street and Taylor Street.  The shuttle may spend no more than 5 minutes
at each destination unless full.  For more information call

Registration is not necessary for the shuttle but I do strongly
recommend emailing me at john_jones at tamu-commerce.edu if you plan to use
the shuttle so we can be aware of the number and location of students
intending to use the shuttle.
