[Intl-stu] ISSO hours during week of August 23

[International Students]

The ISSO will close on Wednesday, August 25 at 12pm Noon and will be
closed the entire day on Thursday, August 26 for the new international
student orientation.  We will have limited availability the week of
August 23rd-27th so if you need assistance please email
john_jones at tamu-commerce.edu or brenda_brand at tamu-commerce.edu and we
will reply as soon as possible.  If you need to meet with an
international advisor (apply for CPT, reinstatement, etc...) please
schedule your appointment for the week of August 16th or after the start
of the semester.  If you need a letter for driver's license, to verify
enrollment, or for a social security application please make your
request prior to August 20th or after the start of the fall semester.


 

For students interested in learning more about Curricular Practical
Training (CPT) we are tentatively planning a workshop September 10th
with time and location to be announced.  We will also schedule our first
two Optional Practical Training workshops (OPT) tentatively for the week
of September 22nd and 24th with time and location to be announced.    A
trip to Dallas is tentatively planned for Friday, September 17 with
destination, cost, and further details to be announced.
