[Intl-stu] International Coffee Hour

[International Students]

Next week is International Education Week and on Wednesday November 18
from 2-4pm the ISSO is hosting an International Coffee Hour and WE NEED
YOUR HELP!

We have had a few international students and the membership of the
Indian Student Association commit to bring some desserts and/or tea and
coffee but we could use your help. I have spoken to a couple of other
international student groups or students but I have not heard back yet
regarding their participation.

Please consider making a traditional dessert or providing our office
with some tea or coffee from your home country for the coffee hour next
week. The ISSO will reimburse up to $50 for food expenses and we will
provide the condiments and hot water.

If you are interested in helping please email
john_jones at tamu-commerce.edu for more information.

Other events for the week will include the following (a formal
announcement will come later this week):

Monday, November 16- Opening reception with Dr. Jones and Grupo Pakal
(Mayan Performing Arts Group) from 3-5pm in PAC.

Tuesday, November 17- International Club Night at Morris Recreation
Center

Wednesday, November 18- International Coffee Hour in ISSO from 2-4pm
and International Movie Night at 9pm in the Club in the student center.
