[Intl-stu] Registration for Fall

International Students intl-stu at TAMU-Commerce.edu

It has come to our attention that some international students have
registered for classes for the fall 2009 semester without providing
proof of medical/repatriation insurance for that semester. We have
confirmed this information through the insurance companies used by our
students and through the report we run each semester to confirm class
registration with insurance information.

As you are aware, you are required to provide proof of
medical/repatriation insurance for every registered semester and there
are no exceptions. You are provided this information during
pre-arrival, at orientation, via email each semester, and it is on your
I-20.

We are reviewing our most current report and any student who has not
provided proof of medical/repatriation insurance for the fall semester
and has registered for classes this fall will have their classes
dropped.

Please visit our website at
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/international/insurance.asp for more
information. You may submit your proof of insurance in person to the
ISSO in BA 350, via email to intl_stu at tamu-commerce.edu
<mailto:intl_stu at tamu-commerce.edu> , or by fax to 903-468-3200. DO NOT
submit proof of insurance to intl-stu at tamu-commerce.edu
<mailto:intl-stu at tamu-commerce.edu> as the information cannot be
processed.
