[Intl-stu] Insurance hold

[International Students]

We have had a number of students provide their proof of
medical/repatriation insurance to the ISSO over the past week so they
can register for courses for the fall semester.  I want to remind you
that it may take the ISSO up to one business day to lift the insurance
hold.  We work hard to lift the holds in a timely manner and in most
cases we lift the hold the same day the insurance is submitted.  I would
ask though that students please not insist that the insurance hold be
lifted the moment the insurance is submitted.

 

You may submit proof of insurance by emailing intl_stu at tamu-commerce.edu
<mailto:intl_stu at tamu-commerce.edu> , in person to the ISSO in BA350, or
by fax to 903-468-3200. Also, please DO NOT submit your proof of
insurance to the international list serve email at
intl-stu at tamu-commerce.edu <mailto:intl-stu at tamu-commerce.edu> .  Any
insurance submitted to the list serve email will be rejected as we
cannot access the information.
