[International Students]

A number of international students have contacted our office with tax
related questions.  The staff of the ISSO and the Human Resource office
have very limited knowledge of tax issues related to international
students.  We recommend visiting our website at
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/international/ssn.asp and go to links
provided for more information regarding tax related questions or issues.
The University of Texas- Austin has a very thorough tax website for
international students and scholars with a step by step process for
filing taxes.  It also may be necessary for you to visit a local tax
provider office for assistance in filing your taxes.
