[Intl-stu] Multi-Cultural Festival information

[International Students]

Subject: Participation in Multi-Cultural Festival.

We are still looking for students or group of students from any country to
be a part of the festival by setting up a display table to share their
culture, provide a sample of food from their country, and/ or take part in
the talent show. This is a much anticipated event each year by the
university and surrounding community and it is a great way to share your
culture.

I have commitments from the Thai Student Association, Chinese Student
Association, Caribbean Student Association, and the Indian Student
Association with interest for involvement from a few other groups and
individuals from a couple of countries. If you are interested in
participating in the festival in any capacity please let me know as soon as
possible. There will be reimbursement for food that is purchased for the
event and the amount of the reimbursement will be set once we have confirmed
the participants.

Also, we have room for 10 performances with the talent show and at this time
we have 3 commitments with a few other groups expressing interest. This
will be on a first come first serve basis so if you are interested please
complete the attached form and return it to Brenda Brand at
Brenda_Brand at tamu-commerce.edu <mailto:Brenda_Brand at tamu-commerce.edu> .
