[Intl-stu] OPT CPT reminder

[International Students]

Just a reminder that students applying for Curricular Practical Training
(CPT) and 12-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) employment will be
required to attend the application appointment in person effective
December 15, 2008.  We will announce the date we will begin scheduling
OPT appointments after the beginning of the Spring semester and students
are not allowed to apply more than 90 days before their program end
date.  Please be sure to make note of this change if you plan to apply
for practical training in the Spring.  This change only applies to
students applying for CPT and 12-month OPT employment.  Students who are
applying for the 17-month OPT extension may have someone represent them
at the application appointment.
