Congratulations to December 15, 2007 graduates!! Your hard work is paying
off and you have accomplished your goal.

I wish you success in your working career and hope that you find happiness
in your life.

 

Reminder: 

1.	If you have applied for or have been approved for OPT employment,
you are still on F1 status, and it is required by F1 regulations that you
report your change of address directly to the International Student Services
Office every time you move within 10 days. You can report the change of
address and submit it online at

      Failure to report your change of address within 10 days is a violation
of immigration law.

 

2.	If you have not applied for OPT by the deadline (November 30, 2007),
you have 60 days grace period with three options : 

a)       Prepare to depart the US within 60 days grace period.

b)       Get admission to a new degree program and transfer in SEVIS into a
new degree 

c)       Apply for a change of status from F1 status to another status that
will allow you to remain in the US legally. 

            Whichever option you choose, you must notify the international
student adviser by e-mail so that we can update your SEVIS record
accordingly.

            To report your option, send e-mail with your full name and
student ID to Noi_Prapan at tamu-commerce.edu
