[Intl-stu] Problems with Celebrations

Subject: Problems with Celebrations

We are having problems with celebrations taking place outside of apartments
in Cowling Hall. We have constantly had to have custodial come clean up
egg, cake, etc. from the walls and grounds. These celebrations are causing
many problems and concerns. One of the problems is pest control. The food
and mess outside is attracting roaches, ants and other pests. The
individuals making the mess are not cleaning up after themselves.

These celebrations are not allowed to take place outside or inside
university housing. The University Police Department agreed last year that
the celebrations can take place over by Gee Lake. From this point on when
we find evidence of a celebration of this type we will begin charging all
residents of Cowling Hall a clean-up fee for custodial services. Anyone
caught throwing eggs, cake, etc. will also be referred for additional
disciplinary action.

Please assist us with keeping your area clean and pest control free.
