TO ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

 

I cordially invite you to attend ENGLISH CORNER this Thursday, Nov 2, 2006,
from 3 to 4 PM, at CHANNON HALL, next to the Epiphany Episcopal Church, on
W. Neal Street , right down the street from the New Science Bldg.  Look for
the small building with the red doors on which there is a sign that says
"Channon Hall."

 

ENGLISH CORNER is a very informal get-together and CULTURAL EXCHANGE for all
to practice there English conversation and to exchange information about
LANGUAGE and CULTURE.  Come and enjoy meeting people from across the campus,
and, of course, from around the world.  On the list of goodies this week,
we'll have CRANBERRY BREAD and HOMEMADE ICE CREAM.  We'll read some stories
or poems, examine some AMERICAN COOKBOOKS  and talk about some uniquely
AMERICAN LANGUAGE.  GOOD CONVERSATON AND BON APETITE!
