[International Students]

SUBJECT: Change of Degree Level

 

Students who have graduated on May 13 or will graduate on August 12, 2006
with one degree and have applied or will apply for admission to a new degree
in summer I-06 or fall 06 must contact the international student adviser
(ISA) and make an appointment for a one-on-one orientation after you have
been fully admitted into a new degree. The immigration regulations require
you to do this in order to extend your legal F-1 status in the US. 

 

You must contact the ISA to update your SEVIS record for "Change of Degree
Level" within 60 days after the last day of your last semester. A new I-20
for a new degree will be issued to you when we see proof of your class
registration for summer I-06 or fall 06.
