Dear former and potential future humor conference participant,
We’re in the middle of organizing the next Humor Research Conference in Northeast Texas and already want to let you know the key dates and facts, which can also be found on our website (in progress):
http://www.tamuc.edu/humor
"Empirical Approaches to Humor"
19-21 February, 2016
downtown Dallas, TX
initial deadline: 12/4/2016
late deadline: 1/15/2016 (for those not needing to plan travel)
This is the sixth time we’re holding our international little humor conference in Northeast Texas, this time again in downtown Dallas. The theme is “Empirical Approaches to Humor”, but submissions on any topic in humor research from any discipline are welcome. As former participants know, the conference’s appeal is its all-plenary high-quality presentation and cozy social program, extreme affordability, especially for students, and stateside venue near Dallas’ airports.
Hope to see you in February!
Kiki
