[GradFacultyStaff] Revised Processing - Change of Major Requests

Good morning everyone.

The Graduate School has updated the Change of Major process to better align with students' financial aid processes.

The revision is to the deadline to submit and process a change of major request.   A change of major request must be submitted 30 days prior to the first class day of the term and must be fully processed 10 days prior to the first class day of the term for the student to begin the term with the new major program.

If the change of major request is submitted after the 30 days, the change of major, if approved, will be effective for the next available term.   For example: a student submits a change of major in September for the fall term, the request will be considered for the spring term as the request was received after the 30 day deadline
