Graduate Faculty,

The Graduate School recently sent the following information to students enrolled in a 518 or 718 course. Please be aware that, for doctoral students, grades of U now impact academic standing, including U's earned in 718.

The following are approximate turn-around times after the proposal or thesis or dissertation has been submitted to Thesis & Dissertation Services in the Graduate School. Papers are reviewed in the order received.

Early in semester - 15 working days

Week before Deadline Day - 20 working days
After Deadline Day - 15 working days

Please keep in mind that the thesis and dissertation review service provided by the Graduate School is not an editing service; papers that have numerous issues related to language, clarity of expression, conformity to style (APA, MLA, ACS, etc.), formatting, and so on require more time and resources to complete the review process, thus prolonging the turnaround time for all students. Please make sure that such issues are addressed prior to submitting to the Graduate School (TDS at tamuc.edu<mailto:TDS at tamuc.edu>).

Thank you. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can assist you further.

Sincerely,

Karin Thomas, B.A. | Thesis & Dissertation Specialist
