Welcome back to the Fall 2019 semester! Below is information about changes to the Graduate School’s Thesis & Dissertation Services processes, webpages and forms.

Beginning Fall 2019, reviews of proposals, final theses, and final dissertations, will be limited to adherence to Graduate School formatting requirements.  With this change, the related web pages for the Graduate School and Thesis & Dissertation Services have now been updated.  Linked forms, guides, and checklists have also been updated and all forms have been made into fillable forms, if appropriate.

All updated forms related to dissertation and thesis committee selection, scheduling of defenses, as well as submission packets for proposals and final documents are now available on both the TDS thesis process web page (www.tamuc.edu/thesis<http://www.tamuc.edu/thesis>), the dissertation process web page (www.tamuc.edu/dissertation<http://www.tamuc.edu/dissertation>), as well as the Graduate School’s Forms and Guidelines<http://www.tamuc.edu/academics/graduateSchool/graduateForms.aspx> page.  From this point forward, please direct your thesis and dissertation students to the appropriate web pages.  We will not be accepting old forms, so please make sure your students know where to find the updated forms.

In addition to updated forms, TDS has created a student checklist<http://www.tamuc.edu/academics/graduateSchool/documents/thesis--dissertation-services/Student%20Checklist.pdf> (hyperlink provided) to assist students in reviewing their document for compliance with the Graduate School’s formatting requirement.  A link to this checklist is available on the thesis page (www.tamuc.edu/thesis<http://www.tamuc.edu/thesis>) and the dissertation page (www.tamuc.edu/dissertation<http://www.tamuc.edu/dissertation>).
