Dear Colleagues ~

It is not too late to bring the Texas A&M University-Commerce Opera Theatre to YOUR school to present an operatic version of the story of Little Red Riding Hood, titled Little Red’s Most Unusual Day! Using music by Offenbach and Rossini, John Davies has crafted a delightful, 45-minute performance your students will love.

Booking fees are based on a per-student fee of only $2.00 with a minimum $400.00 per performance. There is no charge for administrators, teachers, or support staff. All we need is a performance space, such as a gymnasium or a cafetorium.

We schedule one performance in the morning and one in the afternoon. Find a cooperating school where we could perform on the same day as yours, and both schools will receive $50 off the booking fee!

Available dates:
Tuesday, Nov. 8 1:00 pm
Thursday, Nov. 10 9:00 am 1:00 pm
Tuesday, Nov. 22 9:00 am 1:00 pm

To register for this event, please go to the Music Department webpage at www.tamuc.edu/music<http://www.tamuc.edu/music>. Scroll down to Annual Programs and Workshops. Then, click on Opera on the Road.

All music teachers who book a performance will receive an Opera Guide of activities to prepare your students for the performance.

We sincerely hope that your experience with the TAMU-Commerce Opera Theatre will be rewarding, fostering a lifelong appreciation of opera and the many art forms that combine to create this unique experience.

Sincerely,
