“Welcome to our stock market simulation game. Here, you will learn how to
trade stocks just like you would in real life. This is a great opportunity
for you guys to put to test various trading strategies you have learned in
class. Remember the objective is to have the highest portfolio value. The
person with the highest portfolio value on May 1stwill be declared the
winner and will receive $50 in cash as prize money.

Step1: Go to www.marketwatch.com and register for a free account.

Step 2: Click on the link below To Join the Game “*Eco Fin Society Traders*

Step3: Enter the password “GOLIONS”. You will get access to the game.The
game begins on Monday 16thFeb.

Step4: Watch the tutorials listed on trading stocks. These videos should
help you get started. Take a look at the attached word document for
research sources.

Rules Overview:

1. You will each receive $100,000 virtual money at start.

2. Margin trading and short selling is allowed.

3. A commission of $10 per trade will be charged.

is from the Patriot Bank and will be speaking about his experience and time
spent operating the east Texas branch. More information will be posted at a

            “The 1ST Thursday of the month we will continue to meet with
Beta Alpha Psi in the Bistro, in the library.  This is a great opportunity
to network with other students and discuss classes or just socialize. The
next Meet Up will be March 5th at 5pm in the Bistro.”
