<p><font size="2">Greetings:<br><br>There are two major developments on the TAMU-Commerce website; one of<br>which requires your input:<br><br>1) Effective immediately, the main URL for the university is<br><a href="http://www.tamuc.edu">www.tamuc.edu</a>. The old <a href="http://www.tamu-commerce.edu">www.tamu-commerce.edu</a> URL is still working for<br>now, but it will become non- functional in exactly 10 months. Please<br>make arrangements to phase out any references to the old URL.<br><br>2) E-mail addresses will also be changed, but not until we settle on a<br>new naming protocol. The president has asked that we all vote on one of<br>the following options:<br><br>A) <a href="mailto:first_last@tamuc.edu">first_last@tamuc.edu</a><br>B) <a href="mailto:first.lat@tamuc.edu">first.lat@tamuc.edu</a><br>C) <a href="mailto:firstlast@tamuc.edu">firstlast@tamuc.edu</a><br>D) <a href="mailto:lastfirst@tamuc.edu">lastfirst@tamuc.edu</a><br><br>As you are well-aware, option "A" causes numerous problems because the<br>underscore between first and last names gets hidden in underlined<br>hyperlinks.
