Job Description:
 
Growing Farmersville CPA firm is seeking staff accountant to work in the Farmersville and Plano locations. The ideal candidate would be a bilingual speaker (Spanish/English) with prior public accounting experience preparing individual, small business tax returns and Quickbooks. You will be wearing many hats and pitch in where necessary. Additional responsibilities will include answer phones, scheduling and filing. The qualified candidate must be able to work an occasional Saturday and operate Basic MS Office. Hours are M-F 8:30am-5pm.
 
Job Duties:
 
·      Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
 
·      Schedule appointment for clients
 
·      Open and/or close office when necessary
 
·      Answer phones when necessary
 
Skills/Qualifications:
 
·      Ability to work independently with limited supervision
 
·      Must have 1-3 years of public accounting experience
 
·      Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines using effective time management skills
 
·      Excellent organization & communication skills
 
·      Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills is desirable, but not required
 
·      Must have a BS in Accounting or equivalent
 
·      CPA or EA certification is desirable, but not required
 
·      Must be able to follow directions
 
·      Bilingual a plus
