Greetings,

This is a friendly reminder that CITE has purchased a new software application that will help improve our website quality and meet our accessibility Section 508 and TAC laws. SiteImprove is a service that regularly crawls A&M-Commerce website and tracks any broken links, spelling errors, and accessibility issues. Fixing any spelling or link errors reported by SiteImprove requires the user to edit a page within Cascade, A&M-Commerce's content management system

I have identified at least one CMS Editor for some of the departments to receive a Welcome email from SiteImprove Support. Please let me know if you would like to receive email notification from SiteImprove to help you manage your website to fix broken links, misspellings and accessibility issues. Siteimprove will scroll through our webpages and send a report every five days to those who have been assigned to receive the report. Please note, receiving Siteimprove emails is not a spam email.

If you have received an email from SiteImprove, your user name will be your TAMUC email address. You will be asked to create your password to access your SiteImprove. If you do not receive an email from SiteImprove and want access to the SiteImprove or the SiteImprove report should go to someone else in your department, please email Lydia Harkey<mailto:Lydia.Harkey at tamuc.edu?subject=SiteImprove>.

Once you have successfully changed your password and logged into SiteImprove<http://siteimprove.com/>, please use the attached Information Guide to get started.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Lydia
