Elizabeth and Colleagues,

The assignment share is a wonderful idea-- and very helpfully related to the mentoring project's goal of offering support for teacher/scholars who may feel more isolated.

As for resources, I know I can offer a link to this assignment share site on the Bedford blog and of course on the CBW Facebook pages. What would be the possibility of linking to the assignment resource site on the CBW blog? Or perhaps via BWe?

Finally, I have seen the strong interest expressed by our colleagues online and want to offer Elizabeth whatever support we have available to moving forward ASAP with this project. What do others think?

Thanks and best,
Everyone,

My emails to cbw exec are being held for moderation because I'm a "non-member," so I'm sending this to everyone on Liz's email about CBW committees in hopes of getting some feedback/response.

The assignment share idea is a popular one. And I want to get something created while so many people are fired-up so that we get a good collection started. I haven't identified a free resource that will offer the organizational features of something
like Dropbox but the ease of accessibility of Wordpress or tumblr. And I keep saying that I was imagining this looking like a college-level Read Write Think. Of course, then I realized that NCTE sponsors that website and that really, we could use a sponsor.

So before I get carried away and go shooting off emails to try to make something amazing happen, does anyone want to stop me? Does CBW as an organization have web resources to make this happen?

I realize this is summer and that many of you may be avoiding blasted work emails, but I really can't let all of this interest just fizzle. So this is my one last attempt to get blessings, input, reservations, etc. before I just go for it. :)
