The awardee is Ann McNair, who is the Basic Writing Coordinator and an Instructor in the Department of English at the University of Southern Mississippi.&nbsp; Please know that there were several excellent applications this year, but the&nbsp;Fellowship Committee was
 particularly impressive.&nbsp; I've notified Ann, and she has already confirmed her acceptance.<br>

I'd also like to thank the reviewers for their dedication and work (especially when these applications come in at the end of one semester and need to be reviewed over a holiday/winter break and at the start of a new semester--a busy time!).&nbsp;
