<DIV dir=ltr>Sorry to speak about you in third person, Steve, but . . . :)</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>I love the idea of Steve serving as respondent on this panel, especially given that his book will likely be out by CCCC 2012 and the panel speaker lineup is so impressive. I think this would really enrich an already quite rich discussion on "What's New in BW?" </DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>If he's willing . . . </DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>Steve's published widely in our field's top journals, but this is his first book and he's going up for tenure this year so it seems qualifies that "new" category in some fresh ways too. And this: I'm sure he'll sail through that tenure process given his publication, teaching, and service records, but I can't imagine adding "respondent" on Featured Panel like this could hurt his case. :)</DIV>
