Dear Shannon and Sonya,
Thank you for putting this fellowship announcement together and also for sharing it with us. The graphics and layout look professional and the information provided is clear and straightforward. I think CBW listserv is a great place to place the add and I'm sure it'll appear on the CBW web page. Will the announcement also appear on some additional listservs and web pages?
The Text:
It's my eyes and age, I'm sure, but there may be other readers who experience something similar: I find the main text a bit hard to read due to font size and brightness: might the text be larger or bolder?

Who May Apply:
I have a question about who qualifies for this award: Does an applicant have to be currently teaching a "basic writing class" in a college? Or might others who are teaching nontraditional students introductory writing classes also qualify? For example: individuals who teach composition in a college that no longer offers basic writing? Or teachers of writing in programs for returning adults? Or teachers of writing in ESL programs?

Disseminating Information:
I read Susan's comment on this part of the proposal requirement. My sense of things this past year (as a reader of the fellowship proposals) was that the plan to disseminate information was a key part of the proposal. Let's keeep that point clear if wording is changed. In fact, we might want to add a short list of criteria for proposal evaluations (e.g., a well-defined plan for sharing ideas with colleagues is one criterion for evaluation).

Warmly, Barbara

**************
Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos.
