and generally clear, Shannon and Sonya! The one change I would make is to take
the info on the required c.v., etc., that is relatively buried in the
smaller-print lower-left corner section, about whether applicants have a CCCC
paper accepted, and put that info with the other bulleted requirements (benefit
to one’s teaching and students, dissemination plan) along the right-hand
column. As it is, the requirements are split into those two places, and some
applicants will see the CCCC paper stuff and not connect the c.v. requirement
to the other requirements.

Two things:
1. Attached, please find a draft of the announcement for the 2009 CCCC/CBW
Fellowship Award. I've added Sonya's contact information as she's taking over
this role as new CBW Fellowship Chair (and should be on the listserv now; hi,
Sonya!). Please take a look and tell me what you think. If you think it's
ready, I'll send post it to the various lists I'm on (WPA-L, CBW-L, WCenter).
Perhaps we can all post this to our various lists. Can we get it added to the
CBW website, Greg? (BTW: I haven't yet gotten official word about moving CBW
over here, but we will be able to make that move this summer according to all
my sources :)

What do you think, Sonya? Welcome aboard!

2. Hannah and I have spent the last few weeks preparing the proposal for our
next CBW Workshop. We are so excited about it! We've been in contact with a few
of you already, but please expect to hear from us very soon if you haven't yet.
More on that very soon.

Thanks, everyone!
