Hope this finds you well.  Happy fall!  I can hardly believe that the leaves are already starting to fall.  I wanted to touch base on 3 things:


1.  First, my thanks to Michael Hill who stepped in to informally moderate what was a strange (but not nasty yet...) discussion on the CBW-L over grammar.  I appreciate you stepping in & I thank everyone for thinking about when we might need to help moderate discussions.


2.  We need to send out the call for folks who want to present at the poster session at CBW.  I think this went well last year.  Do you have any critiques/suggestions before I send out the call about how to strengthen that part of the CBW day?  Things I should keep in mind?


And, WHO WOULD LIKE TO READ SUBMISSIONS?  We'll need a few readers to read & rank submissions.


3.  If you haven't already, might those of you who are chairing sub-committees nudge them to begin their work?
