Thanks, Shannon! And thanks to Rebecca on the plane (safe travels to you!) and to Marisa and Greg as well. I’m signing off to go do some conference stuff, but will check in again to look for revisions or approvals. You all are the BEST to work with, you know! --Bill

Hi, LIZ. Here's a quickie first draft of a SHM for Chris Anson, as we discussed at the CBW exec meeting. Let me know what you think. If you are not able to get back to me soon, I will send it to the Exec Board for input about 4:20 today (Friday). Thanks!
WHEREAS Chris Anson raised the visibility of Basic Writing through a featured session and prominent references in the program and documents of CCCC 2012; and
WHEREAS Chris Anson's support of Basic Writing as a field, Basic Writing faculty as vital practitioners, and Basic Writers as students deserving of our strongest scholarly and teaching support; and
WHEREAS Chris Anson't support of Basic Writing has furthered the pursuit of social justice, inclusive education, and educational excellence vital to the highest principles of Composition;
WE MOVE that the Council on Basic Writing and the entire Basic Writing community recognize and laud Chris Anson's vision, leadership, and pursuit of social justice in higher education.
Critique and edit at will! Thanks...Bill
