[CBW_Exec] More on this assignment share idea

[J. Elizabeth Clark]

Hi Elizabeth,

Happy that you have taken this on. It's very exciting. We do not currently have any "resources," but I think we'd be open to approaching NCTE. What do others think?

Everyone,

My emails to cbw exec are being held for moderation because I'm a "non-member," so I'm sending this to everyone on Liz's email about CBW committees in hopes of getting some feedback/response.

The assignment share idea is a popular one. And I want to get something created while so many people are fired-up so that we get a good collection started. I haven't identified a free resource that will offer the organizational features of something like Dropbox but the ease of accessibility of Wordpress or tumblr. And I keep saying that I was imagining this looking like a college-level Read Write Think. Of course, then I realized that NCTE sponsors that website and that really, we could use a sponsor. . . like NCTE.

So before I get carried away and go shooting off emails to try to make something amazing happen, does anyone want to stop me? Does CBW as an organization have web resources to make this happen?

I realize this is summer and that many of you may be avoiding blasted work emails, but I really can't let all of this interest just fizzle. So this is my one last attempt to get blessings, input, reservations, etc. before I just go for it. :)

~ Elizabeth
