Hi, good folks. Victor Villanueva has agreed to be our keynoter for the 2013 workshop. Here's some info from his email to me:

"Count me in. And thanks for thinking of me.
(And sorry it's taken so long to get back to you--crazy, crazy week.)
My contact info for the proposal:
As of 30 June, my home will be 935 SW City View St., Pullman, WA 99163; personal email: vv48 at me.com<mailto:vv48 at me.com>; home phone: 509-332-5442; cell: 509-339-5047; no home fax.
Office (as of 30June; on 16August my rank will be Regents Professor; actually, I'll have no institutional affiliation for July and half of August, as I float from one place to the other): Department of English, PO Box 645020, Washington State University, Pullman, WA 99164-5020; email: victorv at wsu.edu<mailto:victorv at wsu.edu>; phone: 509-335-2581; fax: 509-335-2582; same cell number.

Sooooo...the next step, I guess, is for the workshop planners to coordinate with Victor his schedule for that Wednesday in case of other commitments; suggest an approach consonant with our day's aims, and get a title and description from him (Wendy Olson and I have both already given him the general theme of the day; and otherwise brainstorm with him on the topic and structure of his talk.

This is a great step toward our planning for the workshop, and will help to make it one of the best, I think. Special thanks go to Wendy for her initial contact with Victor.

Cheers,

Bill
