Kelly, I'd like to add my thanks as well. Both your book, Before
Shaughnessy, and your active participation in CBW have refocused serious
attention on the work we do and the students we serve.
I wish you all the best in your new editorial position and hope to see you
in St. Louis.

CBW in the two years she served before leaving to take over the editorship

Am Basic Writing!") and helped significantly boost CBW's profile within
CCCC, in addition to a number of other vital contributions to the
organization and the programs and people it represents.

session schedule at hand and don't know my own presentation time and date

everybody in exec will be arriving Tuesday to be ready Weds morning for the
workshop, would that be an open time for everybody?

few events are that evening as it is before the main CCCC sessions begin.
And I am glad you are moving forward with it: if we publicize it well, it
can be one more step in getting visibility for basic writing (and CBW, of
course!).

of previous years, so if having experienced reviewers is valuable, sign me
up again; but if having new perspectives is more valuable (and assuming you
have enough volunteers), I'm not offended if I'm benched to give someone
else a turn. Your call, Liz; fine with me either way.

Let's try for a date/time. If this doesn't work, I'll create a doodle for
us to share out CCCC calendars. I know it's early to do this, but I'd like
everyone to get this on their calendar now so that we can schedule our
other CCCC's meetings around it.

interesting possibility might be to host it Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. right after
the CBW workshop. What do you think about that? Or, are there reasons why
that isn't a good idea?

workshop shortly. Once that call goes out, we need volunteers to review the
proposals. You would be reviewing early in November with about a 2 week
turn around time. Any volunteers?
