Hi everyone:

I like Tom's suggestion about Google Docs, and I definitely appreciate his willingness to get things started for us.

A few quick things, then:

1) I've attached a .docx and .rtf file with that tries to include all of the changes that I think have been requested so far.  (I've also included the actual e-mails that I've received in case others see something I've missed.)  Right now, I've left "Track Changes" on so that people can see where we seem to be headed.

2) I'll ask people to take a look at these changes over the next week or two--although I promise not to start really nagging until _after_ all of the CCCC proposing is done at the end of this week.

3)  I'll ask Tom, if he's still willing, to set up a google doc for us sometime this week or early next so that we can group-author our way to a final version of this thing once the CCCCs madness has died down a bit.  

(And, Tom, my e-mail is lamos at colorado.edu: if you need me to send along a non-track changes of this document, or if you need anything else from me, just let me know.)
