Hi Folks,
Just wanted to make sure that you all know about the CCCC Connected
Community launch today. We're really excited about it and hope you will
join in the conversation.
The CCCC Connected Community is a new feature on the CCCC site and
features discussion and file-sharing groups on a variety of topics of
interest to CCCC members such as Teaching Resources for First-Year
Writing, Assessment, Faculty as Writers, and Contingent Labor Issues. A
complete list of discussion groups is found on the CCCC Connected
Community site. CCCC Members can create their own public or private
groups, share files, and post blogs.
There's a group for Basic Writing, and I know that we will all want to
be active in this discussion, helping to guide and contribute to the
conversation!
If you'd like to join in, you can get started by visiting the CCCC
Connected Community at http://ncte.connectedcommunity.org/NCTE/cccc/ and
login with your NCTE credentials. For more information on how to use the
Connected Community, you can visit NCTE’s Helpful Hints (
http://lists.ncte.org/t/2654994/3803494/16853/0/ ).
Connected Community Leaders have also created a video that introduces
CCCC Connected Community Features (
http://lists.ncte.org/t/2654994/3803494/16854/0/ ) and provides you
information on getting started.
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact Dana
Driscoll, CCCC Connected Community Editor at driscoll at oakland.edu.
Cheers,
Liz
