Dear Kurt,
Thanks for contacting us, and for sponsoring! Indeed, and as I mentioned to Matt, Shannon who so ably co-chaired CBW for three years passed the torch to Liz Clark, but I am still co-chairing. With this confirmation, let's keep the communiques off this list (of the Executive Board for CBW), and Liz Clark and I will work with you to discuss what the possibilities are and then get back to the Board for ideas, feedback, etc. so as not to clog people's inboxes.
I will send you a separate email with just our addresses in a minute.
Best--
Hannah

Fantastic, Kurt! How very generous. I'm sharing this with the CBW Board, which includes the fabulous Peter Adams and Greg Glau, of course. Hannah Ashley and Liz Clark are current co-chairs for CBW, and I have no doubt you'll be hearing from one or the other of them soon.
Also glad to hear Matt Wright's name. We had a splendid series of conversations over a couple of years in pursuit of a BW textbook that we ultimately had to set aside. What a pleasure it was to pursue that project with his support, guidance, and advocacy. Please give him my best.
Yours,
Shannon

Hi, Matt Wright and I are with Pearson, and we've been chatting about
the chatting we've read on the listserv. We would love to sponsor a CBW
event at Cs in 2012. I was happy to see Melissa float the idea as I
have worked with her in the past. We sponsor ALP events for Peter
Adams, we are thrilled to be publishing Greg Glau's new book, and Mike
Rose is a Penguin author (our sister company) and has done book signings
for us in the past. I point all of this out to suggest that we have
numerous ways we could support an event.
I'd love to talk with you about how we can get help. Please shoot me a
note or ring me up when you can.
