[CBW_Exec] other thoughts on CBW mission statement?

Hello Exec Board:

I agree with the comments about public policy, in particular!

Also, just keeping you all in the loop on the Wednesday workshop and panel support--I am attaching the spreadsheet of folks who submitted to the Google doc as of last Friday. I linked folks up with common themes, and many of them seem to be collaborating, so there may be 6 or so BW-themed panels submitted this year just from this networking. If you see anyone you personally would like to work with, write me off list and I will tell you who I linked up with whom. (Sugie, you in particular asked to see the list I think?)

Liz and I have verbally hammered out Wednesday workshop outline, and will be drafting on paper shortly.

Very exciting work.

Hi Steve,
I agree that this looks good and I like Deborah's suggestions. I'd
like to suggest that the first bullet be amended to finish: "across
two and four year post-secondary institutions." As for Deborah's
point about public policy, I still think we do want to influence
public policies (however late in the day that may be) but I agree we
should add something about the increasing privatization of public
higher ed. (Sorry I don't have specific language to offer right at
the moment). Finally, maybe an edit to last bullet so we don't have
the "in support of students it supports"
