Friends:
Please see Chris Anson's request below.
If you'll share nomination and contact information, I can gather together and pass along to Chris Anson.
THIS is such a rich and effective way to reach out to the larger membership. I wonder if we might take a page from this for CBW, perhaps reaching out to membership in next year or so for additional BWe reviewers and/or some folks to get involved with vetting future CBW conference proposals.
I'm impressed!
Yours,
Shannon

Subject: Recommendations for Stage I Reviewers
Colleagues:
I'm writing to you because you are the chair or co-chair of a CCCC caucus, SIG, committee, or other group within the CCCC organization. I'd like to have broad representation among those who will be Stage I reviewers for next year's conference in St. Louis. To that end, I would appreciate it if you would send me the name(s) and email address(es) of 1 or 2 people within the groups that you represent who you think would make strong, thoughtful, and objective reviewers of panel proposals for the conference. Please nominate yourself if you feel so inclined. It makes no difference if the person(s) you recommend participated in last year's Stage I review--an endorsement of their continued participation is also helpful.
Although it won't be possible for me to include everyone that you all suggest--and some may also decline my invitation--I'll do my best to ensure that the talents and varied knowledge and expertise of a wide variety of CCCC members will be collectively represented in the review process.
Please include email address(es)--you can imagine how much work it would be to find them all.
Many thanks for your help, and I look forward to seeing you next year in St. Louis, if not before.
Best wishes,
Chris Anson
