[CBW_Exec] thanks and onward

[Deborah Mutnick]

Terrific work, everyone, especially Shannon, Liz, Bill, and Mike. The IHE article is indeed very strong, a good start to our resolve to give BW a higher public profile from our point of view. We definitely seem to have Chris Anson's attention, which bodes well for next year and beyond, at least at Cs. Great to see everyone last week.

All the best,
Deborah

Hello everyone,

Let me add my thanks to Hannah's comments here, and like Hannah, I feel especially grateful to Shannon, Liz, and Bill for their vision, energy, and commitment. I just received an email from George Otte with a link to the "Inside Higher Ed" article, which did in fact appeard this morning and is very strong (http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2011/04/11/). Thanks to Michael Hill for having the savvy to encourage them to cover this story. Thanks to Serena as well for her good reporting.

I just wanted to send out a public note of thanks to all of you, and especially to Shannon Carter, Liz Clark and Bill Lalicker.

Shannon, it's been delightful working so closely with you these three years. Your hard work, creativity, ability to make connections and willingness to take risks has moved CBW forward so much.

Liz, thanks for stepping in (I can't even really say for me, as you immediately "owned" the role). Again, what hard work and clear thinking.

Bill, thanks for labor and vision that it took to move the resolution to fruition. As always, see you down the hall.

I'll touch base with each of you so I can do some "grunt work" to help this year and CCCC 2012 be a strong continuation of the excellent work you all launched.

What smart, energetic, visionary folks you all are--

Hannah
