[CBW_Exec] Listserv Activity or Lack Thereof

I, too, received the message, so apparently I was needlessly concerned about the list. Perhaps, I was right: everyone is bogged down with large stacks of papers to grade.

Thanks for checking.

Hello everyone,

I just sent the BWe message to the CBW listserv. Please let me know if you receive it.

Kelly and Hannah, below is an email from Tom Reynolds who is the CBW list administrator. You can email him directly or you can find directions at:

http://orgs.tamu-commerce.edu/CBW/Listserv.html

Peace and best,

Susan

CBW Subscribers,

Susan's information is correct. If you have trouble signing off or with any mechanics of the list, please contact me directly off the list.

Hope everyone's summer is going well.

You may leave the list at any time by sending a "SIGNOFF CBW-L" command to LISTSERV at LISTS.UMN.EDU<mailto:LISTSERV at LISTS.UMN.EDU>. You can also tell LISTSERV how you want it to confirm the receipt of messages you send to the list. If you do not trust the system, send a "SET CBW-L REPRO" command and LISTSERV will send you a copy of your own messages so you can see that the message was distributed and did not get damaged on the way. After a while, you may find that this is getting annoying, especially if your mail program does not tell you that the message is from you when it informs you that new mail has arrived from CBW-L. If you send a "SET CBW-L ACK NOREPRO" command, then LISTSERV will mail you a short acknowledgement instead, which will look different in your mailbox directory. With most mail programs, you will know immediately that this is an acknowledgement you can read later.
Finally, you can turn off acknowledgements completely with the "SET CBW-L NOACK NOREPRO" command.

ACtually, I'm not on that list either. I was supposed to add myself, but didn't do it yet. Shame on me.

Hi Susan:

Could you (or the list administrator) please add me to CBW? Ironically, I am not on it currently! When I moved to UNCG, the membership didn't follow, and this message thread reminds me I need to rejoin!

Thanks,

Kelly

       Hello Everyone,

I DID receive Liz's email on the CBW listserv about putting "Basic Writing" in the title.

I'm on my way to class, but later today I will send a message to the listserv about BWe. Shannon and I have extended the deadline for receipt of manuscripts to June 15.

Please watch for this message later on this afternoon or this evening and let me know if you receive it.

       Thanks and peace,

       Susan

I wondered about that too. I sent along a note 2 weeks ago reminding

I haven't seen anything coming in from the CBW listserv for more than a
month, so I'm wondering if there is a technical problem or has everyone
simply been to busy to post?
