[CBW_Exec] FW: Changes to CBW page

Barb,

That is so nice of you. We have heard from 30 schools that are
interested-at least interested enough to hand me a business card after a
presentation or to email me and inquire. That's a lot more interest
than we expected so we are (hurriedly) organizing a summer institute for
this June to which we'll invite everyone who's interested.

We've also learned that an educational research foundation named MDRC
would like to partner with us on the research and dissemination effort.
They will also join us in writing a FIPSE proposal.

In the meantime I have about half of an article for Rebecca at JBW on
the origins of ALP and we're working on a report on our first two years
of research, which we hope to interest WPA in publishing.

So, we're quite excited but also a little frantic. It's a good
combination-keeps me from retiring.

Peter

Peter, I hope some other college does replicate your BW mainstreaming
project.
Also, I look forward to reading anything you may be writineg about the
mainstreaming project for journal publications
