I'm not sure who's responsible for this, but I would like to request that the web page on the innovations award be updated in two ways:

1. to list CCBC as this year's winner
2. to update the info for candidates for 2010; right now the dates and deadlines are for the 2009 award.

Thanks.

Peter

Subject: [CBW_Exec] A second item for your consideration (BWe and CBWmembership)

Hi, all--

Just wanted to add a second item to the table, which we can push to the
background as we continue to explore ways to fold our new membership into
the mix (much more pressing matter, as Kelly collected this list of 150 new
members for us more than two months ago! Thanks, Kelly!)

So . . .
1. What do we want to do with the names Kelly collected for us? These folks
are not on the CBW-L listserv, or at least they are not supposed to be.
Kelly requested that only those who weren¹t should send her their names and
contact information. She has a couple of excellent suggestions, including
beginning a new listserv. Perhaps one we could use just to announce
> BWe stuff<ala Reflections and other good models for marketing? Something we
> could tie to the blog Liz has created for us? Something that includes, once or
> twice a year, information regarding all the various benefits associated with
> joining CBW and how to join? Something that helps folks see the various goals
> associated with upcoming projects, like our social justice policy initiative.
>
> The difference between this list and CBW-L could be that it is a list for
> receiving messages not discussing. For online discussions, we have CBW-L. We

> committee. I think we do. Anyone want to take this on? Organize it? I¹m afraid

Hi, all--

So Kelly has gathered a bunch of names together in an attempt to energize
our CBW group. Thanks, Kelly!

The question from here (and I should have asked much earlier) is this: What
do we want to do with these names? How do we bring them into the fold?

Thanks for your help and great ideas!
