[CBW_Exec] New Issue of BWe: Basic Writing Electronic Journal

Dear Colleagues,

 We are pleased to announce that the new issue of BWe: Basic Writing
Electronic Journal 7.1 is now available on the web at
http://orgs.tamu-commerce.edu/BWe/Issue_7.1.html.  In this issue you will
find reviews of CCCC 2008 sessions focused on basic writing as well as book
reviews and an article on a proposed basic writing social justice
initiative.

 You will also see the new design of BWe.  Click the "Next Issue" link to
find our call for papers.  We are especially interested in publishing book
reviews of new books by teacher/scholars in Basic Writing, as well as books
that are broadly relevant to the field of Basic Writing.

 If you follow the "Research in Progress" link, you will find information
for two Basic Writing-focused sessions at CCCC 2009 in San Francisco.  Even
if you cannot attend the convention, you can still participate in these
projects by completing the surveys that presenting teacher/scholars will
discuss at CCCC.

We hope you enjoy this new issue and our new design and we also hope that
you will keep us in mind for future submissions.
