[CBW_Exec] 2009 CBW Fellowship Winner (2nd Attempt)

[Sonya Armstrong]

Hi everyone,

Apologies--apparently my first email to the list did not go through.

It would appear that we have a winner for the 2009 fellowship!

Leslie Norris, a doctoral student in English at Old Dominion
University, and an assistant professor at Rappahannock Community
College, earned a total of 41 points from our review committee. In
addition to participating in the CBW Workshop, Leslie will also be
presenting her current work as a part of a panel session at CCCCs
(session titled “Multimodal Texts Help Basic Writers Create Effective
Essays”).

There were four other applications, and those applicants earned 38
points, 38 points, 35 points, and 22.

I will contact all applicants, and share the good news with Leslie now.
Also, thanks goes out to the members of the review committee for their
time and careful consideration of these applications.

See you in a few weeks!

Sonya
