OK from my end, too, but I'm even more desultory than Bill - never have looked at FaceBook.  My students think that's strange and also think it's odd when I call it FaceMask . . .

Fine with me, though I have to admit I am a very desultory Facebook member, never bothering to put up pix of myself (a great loss to the denizens of cyberspace, I am sure) and neglecting to check in for weeks at a time...though a CBW group might entice me to check in more often.

Greetings, everyone, from snowy Queens.

In regards to Hannah's call for more visibility, I would like to create a Facebook group page for CBW and BWe as soon as possible before CCCC so that we can post upcoming events, calls for submission, and so on.

CCCC and NCTE have Facebook group and there are other group pages for several other organizations (formal and informal) associated with Rhetoric and Composition.

So here are my questions:

Does anyone have any objections to CBW creating a Facebook page?

If not,  do I have the Board's approval to create this page?

AND-- if so-- would anyone else be interested in co-administering the group with me?
