You are so welcome, Shannon! It was such a joy and an honor to work with
you. I really recommend folks read Shannon's book. It's a very, very
important contribution to BW research and teaching. Best to you, Laura

Oh, Laura! Thank you so very much. . . . for your note and for everything
else!

To CBW EB: Laura was the primary reviewer for this text, and her feedback
and guidance was invaluable. I couldn't have had a better experience,
largely because of her response to the initial submission and then the
deeply revised one that was eventually accepted--feedback that was
simultaneously rigorous, constructive, and encouraging. What a combination!
She forced me to think more, research more, and ultimately create a book
project I can feel pretty darn good about. It was hard work, but everything
worthwhile seems to be doesn't it?

Look forward to seeing everyone next week! Thanks again, Laura!

Shannon

Hey there-- congrats, Shannon! I so look forward to seeing the published
version.

I am not able to get to town til Friday evening-- so I will not be able to
be at the meeting. Please let me know about anything I miss, though. And
warm regards to everyone!

Laura

Congratulations, Shannon! I held your actual book in my hands today
at the AERA meeting in NYC. It looks wonderful-- and SUNY P assured
me that it would be available at CCCC as well.

Warm regards to all of you,

Susan
