My name is Rebecca Lara and I am one of the supervisors with the Region 10 Education Service Center Head Start Program.  Our Head Start/Early Head Start program is located in 5 North Texas counties.  We partner with rural school districts, where our program
 is a partnership a school district agrees to provide in their district.  <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Currently, we have several openings in our Head Start program for Family Resource Specialists, one for our Crandall ISD partnership, one for our Mabank ISD partnership and a Family Support Specialist for our Italy ISD partnership.  These
 positions work directly with families who have qualified for our Head Start program.  The children’s ages are 3-4 year olds and we service the whole child and family.  Much of the work of an FRS/FSS is to provide resources, establish goals for the families
 and support a family when in crisis.  We provide a year long new field staff training and other professional development opportunities.

<p class="MsoNormal">Attached are the job descriptions for the FRS & FSS positions.  This would be a great opportunity for a first time Social Worker to work with families within a school setting.
