Subject: [BSW] May Mini Study Abroad Costa Rica

Good Morning Social Work Students!   The Social Work Department has traveled to Costa Rica each year since 2011 (COVID Years we did not travel).  We have established long lasting relationships with stake holders, agencies, organizations, schools, and NGO's.  The trip is very experiential and allows you to understand the social work perspective of another country.  The trip this year will be from May 13 to May 21, with the 13th and 21st being travel days.  We typically fly from DFW to SanJose and then travel up country to the Soltis Center where we spend our initial days.  After activities in the more rural areas, we travel back to San Jose for more urban experiences.  All activities are r completed as a group and based on transportation in Country we can accommodate around 16 participants maximum.

I have attached an interest application should you want to be considered for the trip.  Please have the application returned ASAP but before March 1.
