Students will be provided with a general perspective on social work and social work policy in Costa Rica. Working in conjunction with Texas A & M Soltis Research & Education Center and site visits to various social service agencies in areas of health, mental health, aging, child welfare and criminal justice students will explore issues of political and economic development, environmental social movements, history and culture.

Below is information to apply for the scholarship that will help offset the costs of the trip

  *   Scholarship application letter: Why is the student interest in studying aboard and how can this help their future.
  *   Copy of transcript or degree
  *   One letter of recommendation: Faculty, staff or employer.
  *   After studying aboard submit some pictures and a paragraph on student experience styling abroad. Email to studyabroad at tamuc.edu<mailto:studyabroad at tamuc.edu> .



All documents must be uploaded, or the form will be rejected.
