Hello!

I know that there have been many questions about when the next A-Team meeting is both from juniors and seniors. There is a flyer up on the board in the Henderson hallway that will be updated frequently detailing information such as this. If you are not at the school or have other questions, you can always reach us by e-mailing us at “advocates.tamuc at gmail.com<mailto:advocates.tamuc at gmail.com>”.

Seniors: The next A-Team meeting will be on Monday, September 26th from 12:15PM – 12:45 PM. This will take place in the office, but is subject to change if necessary depending on how many people attend. If you have paid your dues in the past, you do not have to pay again. If you are joining the A-Team for the first time this semester, please be sure that you have your dues ($15) and membership application by no later than this meeting.

Juniors: Your upcoming meeting will be on Tuesday, September 27th at 2:30 PM. This meeting will be held in Henderson 302 (the big room in the first hall). Please bring your applications and dues ($15) if you have not already turned them in. If you need another application, please request one via the e-mail provided above.

Officer elections are coming up and this is something that will be discussed in more depth during your meeting. Be thinking of whether or not you would like to run and who you would like to run for office. You must have your membership application and your dues turned in to be eligible for candidacy.

Mesquite Seniors: If you have been a member of the A-Team in the past and did not participate in the summer, you are still eligible to be a member this semester. Please e-mail us above and let us know if you would like to be a part of the organization for this semester.

Mesquite Juniors: If you would like to be a part of the A-Team on the Mesquite campus, please send an e-mail to the address provided above so that we can put you in contact with our Mesquite liaison.

The Advocates at A&M is a dedicated service organization that seeks to help the community in which it surrounds. Each semester, we do our best to give back to the community by volunteering 20 hours of our time to service. Please consider this if you are considering applying.

Best,

Skylar Lange

A-Team President
